Most cheese varieties with peppercorns are called “Peppercorn Jack”. Since Hetty’s father’s name is Joop, we thought it would be funny to call it “Peppercorn Joop” instead. We thought it was fitting as in a way, it also imparts some of the legacy that Joop and Regina created when starting the dairy operation back in 1990.
Peppercorn Joop has green and red peppercorns, paprika and garlic. It imparts a spicy, sharp flavour which tastes delicious on a cheese plate.
